Or need to take a taxi somewhere. Or pay your rent, or your condo fees, or pay for a lawyer, or for your mutual fund. Next winter, it's going to cost more to heat your house. Think to Canada Day weekend, when it's going to cost 8% more to put gas in your tank. God forbid you are involved with planning a funeral.

I'm not sold on this being good for Ontarians. This corporate tax cut that's being handed out will be great for the major cities, Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa, London, maybe even Windsor. But how many corporations have just left Brantford? Should we be expecting an influx of jobs come July 1?

The Conservatives were in such a rush to get this bill through before Christmas that the beat the Ontario Liberals to the punch. Mr. McColeman has yet to return to Parliament.

Dave Levac is fully supporting the role of his government in bringing in the HST.

Knowing the effects of HST in other Provinces, this is nothing more then a Snowjob and the intent of the HST is to generate more revenue for the Ontario Government.

Neither the MP or the MPP campaigned on bringing the HST to the people of Brant.

Neither MP or MPP consulted the public after their being elected on implementing the HST.

Neither MP or MPP consulted the people of Brant during their rush to implement this tax.

Why is it after the fact that Dave Levac and Phil McColeman shopping the HST?
